A TRAIL FILLED WITH SPOOKY FUN FOR EVERYONE
The much anticipated, new Halloween trail is filled with even more surprises for 2024. Halloween just wouldn’t be the same without a headless horseman or two pacing the grounds but remember, the darker it gets the spookier it gets ….
Join family and friends to wander from dusk into darkness and from one spooky space to another. This year, watch out for the colossal King of the Pumpkins surrounded by a field of grinning pumpkins but beware… close by is the ringmaster from the haunted circus. He will welcome you into a world of phantasmagoria with monstrous mirrors and larger-than-life jack-in-the-boxes, then guide you onto the phenomenal fire performers. The ghoulish mayhem continues, as hidden deep within the Secret Garden discover the wonderfully inventive Dr.Frankenstein in his electrifying laboratory with Igor. Tip-toe gently under the carnivorous tree glowing in the dark, warning…don’t disturb the sleeping roots or you’ll be sorry. Along the way dodge wicked witches, horrible highwaymen, scary scarecrows, a sinister spider tunnel, fire and brimstone. It’s going to be one hell of a trail!!
*Along with bewitched burgers, Frankenstein’s fries and loaded curly worms, there’s a delicious twist to the sweetest of treats on offer. Enjoy a fiendishly good hot toddy or devilishly decadent hot chocolate and toast a marshmallow with someone special.
Your very spookiest Halloween starts here. Limited capacity with timed entry. Plan now to secure the date and time of your choice.

You are also welcome to bring your own.
Is the Halloween at Blenheim Palace trail accessible for wheelchair users?
The Illuminated Trail is presented in the natural landscape.
Whilst every effort is made to make the trail fully accessible, by its very nature it will on occasion cover some difficult terrain with a number of varying gradients.
These areas can be particularly challenging during inclement weather. In these circumstances there will be additional steward support available for assistance.
Is there a ‘quieter access’ session for Halloween at Blenheim Palace?
This session is for adults and young people who would love to experience Halloween at Blenheim Palace without the usual high volumes of people. The session will begin at twilight before the illuminated trail opens to the public, making the transition into the dark much easier. For Halloween at Blenheim Palace 2024, this session will be held at 4pm on Wed 30 Oct.
The capacity of this session will be limited to ensure that the trail remains less crowded and more relaxed.
It should be noted that on many of our trails the path network is not tarmac, and although there are stewards along the route to assist you, the trail will follow the natural contours of the landscape and paths can be steep at times.
Wheelchairs, mobility scooters and trampers will not be available to hire on site, so please make any necessary arrangements for these prior to your visit. They are accommodated but discretion is required as the trail may not be suitable for all aids. Stewards will assist where possible but this cannot be guaranteed.
Ticket prices for our quieter sessions are consistent with the rest of the illuminated trail, with carers entering for free. When booking, please talk to our staff about any additional support you may need for exiting the illuminated trail through quieter areas or help with parking closer to the start of the trail.
To book the quiet access session, please click here.
